Oh seekers of truth, when you behold a glimmer of light,

Be it ever so small, in the darkness of the night,

Embrace it with all your might, and hold it close and tight,

For it carries the power to vanquish your ego's fight.

Honour your allegiance with the Shaykh, and hold on to

The rope of Allah, no matter how harsh the storm may brew.

Jump into the ocean of light, like Prophet Yunus of old,

To seek refuge from your nafs, and let your spirit unfold.

Jump into the loaded ship of faith, like the companions did,

With Prophet Noah, trusting what the divine bid.

For they were small in numbers, like Sidi Shaykh’s mureeds,

With luminous hearts, devoted to the path of righteous deeds.

Let not the distractions of this world lead you astray,

But hold on to the rope of Allah, and let your heart obey.

Let the light of truth guide you through the darkest of days,

And lead you to a place of peace, where your heart can stay.

So honour your allegiance with the Shaykh, and hold on to the rope,

Of Allah, and let your spirit soar to the summit of hope.

For in the ocean of light, you will find your true home,

And your heart will be at rest, no longer feeling alone.
