In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Ever Merciful

And They Blame Us

You remain our Shaykh and father,
Through your love, my master, we existed, and ceased to be,
In you we vanished from ourselves, so we would not be lost in the Eternal.

A branch that appeared since ancient times,
It was, and remains Powerful,Its title is love, secret, and lessons.

They were amazed at us because we are in need,
And for your love we are waiting,
We long for your Face, so we become absent and present.

Glory to the One who carried His servant by night,
Until he vanished in his Beloved, while concealed,
A servant who ascended to You, waiting,
And returned from You, proud—with a love destined for him.

Without Him, the universe would not have appeared, nor become manifest,
And they blame us: how in His love do we vanish?
Do they not know that annihilation in Him is true existence?
And that death in Him is a life that never ceases?
