I smell beautiful scents
In the courtyard!
Jasmine, rose, pomegranate, and citrus...
Lamps on the city street
Spread over distance!
Coolness in the air
And a natural mystic...

Laughter, poetry, praise to the One!
Bowin’ our heads
With the rays of the sun!
Knowledge, art...
Social justice!
Sweetness gushin’
Like honey from the comb!

Tears from the stones
That weep for Beauty!
Pinin’ in the moonlight
With lips that undo me...
